Raphela Junior School Holds Thanksgiving Mass to Bid Farewell to Rev. Fr. Julius Kanyike and Welcome Rev. Fr. Victor as New Chaplain
Raphela Junior School joyfully announces the successful celebration of a Thanksgiving Mass held to honor and bid farewell to Rev. Fr. Julius Kanyike, who has faithfully served as the school’s chaplain, and to welcome Rev. Fr. Victor Ngazi as he begins his ministry with the Raphela family community.
The event was a moment of both reflection and anticipation, filled with prayers of gratitude for Fr. Julius’ unwavering dedication and spiritual leadership. Over the years, Fr. Julius has been a guiding light for both students and staff, nurturing their spiritual growth and strengthening the values that Raphela Junior School holds dear.
As we said our heartfelt goodbyes to Fr. Julius, the celebration also marked a joyful beginning, as we warmly embraced Fr. Victor, our new chaplain. His appointment brings with it a renewed sense of hope and excitement as he takes on the responsibility of providing spiritual care, guidance, and mentorship to our school community.
The Mass was attended by students, parents, guardians, staff, and friends of the school, who gathered to witness this important transition. It was a vibrant display of faith and unity, demonstrating the close bond between the school and its wider community.
Speaking at the event, the school leadership expressed profound gratitude to Fr. Julius for his years of dedicated service and encouraged the community to continue praying for both priests for God’s blessings upon Fr. Julius in his future ministry and for wisdom and strength for Fr. Victor as he embarks on this new journey.
Raphela Junior School looks forward to working hand-in-hand with Rev. Fr. Victor to continue fostering a nurturing environment where academic excellence and spiritual growth flourish side by side.
